OUR PROJECTS

The Blackmore End Village Hall and Playing Field Committee's raise funds by holding events to maintain and support the local community. Here's a look at what were currently working on.

DAVID FOSTER MEMORIAL GARDEN

David Foster was secretary of the Village Hall Committee for 46 years and a Wethersfield Parish Councillor for 15 years. Sadly David passed away at the end of last year but will be remembered for being involved in many, many parts of village life over the years. The Committee have agreed that a fitting memorial for David is to turn the green space outside the Village Hall into a low maintenance Memorial Garden. RENOVATION OF ICONIC WATER PUMPS

Another project currently being worked on by the Committee is the renovation of the two iconic water pumps in the village, one outside the village hall and the other in Brick Kiln Green.
